1. What if I lost the license code?
You can retrieve your license code online. Just go to Retrieve License Code . You will be required to provide the email address you used to purchase the product.
If you fail to retrieve license code via the online auto service, please contact us at support@any-video-converter.com to request your original license. Please provide us with detailed information about your purchase, such as email address, user name, etc.
2. How can I get the product and license?
Once you complete the online order, you were supposed to receive an email with the order information and license code.
Trial version of Any Video Converter Pro is available on our website. For your convenience, just click here to download the program.
If you order a copy of backup CD plus to the program, please allow about 10 days for delivery. If you need to use the program urgently, we suggest you download the program from our website.
3. Audio tracks does not sync with moving pictures, why?
You can solve the problem by setting the A/V Sync. Please go to the right pane of the main window of Any Video Converter, find "Audio Options > A/V Sync", and choose "Basic" for the A/V Sync.
You can also solve the problem by increasing the sync factor. Please click the Edit menu and follow this path: "Edit > Options > Video > Audio/Video Sync", and then drag the bar to increase the sync factor. The acccuracy of A/V sync will increase as th the number of the factor increase. Note that the increase of the sync factor might slow down the converting speed some how.

Please note that some source video files may be encoded with defects that would disrupt or mislead the converting process. This sometimes will cause converting errors and the out-of-sync problem. In this case, it’s suggested that you change output format or the input files.
4. My license is invalid. What shall I do?
Case 1: User name contains punctuation, symbols or special characters.
For example, the character Ÿ, the symbol #, or the punctuation ’, will not be recognized by the program. Some French, Greek, Italian, German, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese or Spanish characters will not be accepted by the program.
If your license code is invalid due this reason, please contact us for a new code with the user name in English characters as you prefer.
Case 2: Blank spaces are accidentally added.
Please mind that license information is case-sensitive. Do not enter any extra blank space to the license name or code.
Case 3: The license does not match the program.
Please note that we have several similar but different programs. Please match the license with the very program you use.
For instance, if you purchase Any Video Converter, but accidentally download Any DVD Converter, then you will fail to register the program. You shall download Any Video Converter instead.
5. Why there is no sound in the converted videos?
Please make sure that the "Audio Option > Disable audio" option is set to "No" before the conversion.
Windows XP users please go to the "Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices>Audio> Sound Recording >Advanced”, check "Stereo" option in the pop-up panel
If the Advanced button is disabled, please click Volume button in Sound Recording panel, you will see a pop-up window, choose Properties in Options menu, and then please check Stereo Mix in the list.
Other situations please find the log file "vdoconv" at the location of C:\Documents and Settings\******\Application Data\Any DVD Converter Professional\vdoconv. (Replace the ****** with your computer user name). Please send this log text file to us. We will respond to you as soon as possible.
6. Can Any DVD Converter remove CSS and Region Code?
No. Any DVD Converter will not rip DVDs that are protected by CSS or other digital rights protections.

7. How to rip DVD to a whole video file, but not separated files?
You can go to the main window of Any DVD Converter, click "Edit-> Options-> DVD Ripping", and check the box "Do not separate a DVD video disc as titles".
8. I cannot install (run) Any Video Converter on my computer. Why?
Any Video Converter is not compatible with 64-bit Windows XP, 64-bit Vista, Windows 2000 or Windows 98 systems at the moment. It is not possible to install Any Video Converter on these systems.
If you have successfully installed Any Video Converter but can not run the program or install updates, please delete the previous registry.
To delete software registry, Windows XP users please click on the Start menu at the left bottom of Windows desktop, and then choose Run, enter "regedit", click OK to run the command, and the Registry Editor will show up. Vista users please click on the Start menu, enter "Run" into the search bar, and then run the "regedit" command to open the registry editor.
In the Registry Editor window, click through "My Computer > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software ", right-click the Any Video Converter Professional folder, choose Delete to delete the registry.

9. I paid but did not receive license code. Why?
You will receive the confirmation email with license code upon the transaction of your order. Please check your inbox.
If you do not receive confirmation email with license code, please check the spam folder to see if the auto-generated email is marked as spam.
If there is no confirmation email at all, then it must be blocked out by the filter of your email service provider.

10. Why was I asked to log in YouTube account?
Any Video Converter features downloading videos from Youtube. But this is subject to the Terms of Use of YouTube.
YouTube requires log-in to verify your age to see if you are permitted to access adult contents or contents that may cause uneasy feelings. You shall create YouTube account to download such kind of videos.
