Q: I just want a clip/segment of my video files. Is it possible?

 

A: Yes. You need set "Start Time" and "End Time" to get the clip you want. First of all, you should highlight the loaded file in the program, and then play it in Preview window and then use Start Point and End Point here to trim the video. You can also enter correct values for "Start Time" and "Duration", which can be found on the right panel of the interface For example, if you want a 3-minute-clip from the 10 minutes of the whole movie, please enter "00:10:00" for "Start Time" and "00:03:00" for duration.

 

Q: . Where can I find the output videos?

 

A: After our software shows "completed" for the conversion job, please click "Open" button which can be found at the bottom of the main interface. You will reach the destination folder directly, from where you will find the output files for your conversion job.

 

Q: Why the output videos have no sound?

 

A: Please go to the "Control Panel" of the computer and double-click on the "Sounds and Audio Devices" and then you will see a pop-up window, and please click "Audio" tab and then click "Advance" button of "Sound Recording" and please check "Stereo" option in the pop-up panel.

If the Advance button is disabled, after you click Audio tab and please click Volume button in Sound Recording panel and then you will see a pop-up window, and choose Properties in Options menu and then please check Stereo Mix in the list.

 

Q: The quality of output files is not very good. How can I improve it?

 

A: Generally speaking, the output quality can be improved by modifying "Video Size" and video "Bit Rate". After you highlight the loaded file into the program, you will be able to modify them on the right panel of the main interface. But in certain format, there would be some limitations. And also, the output files would be in a larger size if you set larger values for these two items.

 

Q: How to transfer the output files into my iPod?

 

A: Make sure you have installed QuickTime on your computer. If not, you can download it from www.apple.com . The transferring job must be done by this tool. For more details about this job, maybe the support information offered by Apple site would also help.

 

Q: The converted video and audio get out of sync when I play it on cell phone. Why?

 

A: It is quite possible your phone requires different settings with what we offered or you set. Please get to know more about what proper settings for frame rate, as well as some others your phone can support.

Q: I cannot load VOB files from the "Video_TS" folder of a standard DVD. Why?

 

A: Our software is just a video conversion tool, so it will not do a good job on DVD conversion. If you can remove the encryption of the DVD by other third-party program, such as DVD Decryptor, our software will be able to convert the decrypted VOB files.
